About Us
The Foundation for Global Leadership was founded in 2002 to strengthen leadership worldwide to better ensure sustainable development and democracy. FGL uses a tri-fold approach to accomplish our vision:
- International Executive Leadership Initiatives that provide opportunities
for business and community leaders to visit developing countries to better
understand the needs, strengths and challenges facing emerging democracies.
- Promote global citizenship through international service learning opportunities
for university and high school students to understand the role of non-governmental
organizations in emerging democracies and better understand critical issues
pertaining to sustainable peace and development.
- Connect American business leaders to non-governmental organizations in need of technical assistance and capacity building.
