Miriam Magada, an expert birding and wilderness guide, had always wanted to start her own tour company. With ten years of experience with the Ugandan Wildlife Authority, Ugandan Game Parks and as a bird guide with a local tour company, Miriam served as a guide on FGL's inaugural executive leadership safaris to Uganda. Although our delegations ended, Miriam maintained relationships with the NGO's we visited and embraced the idea of tourists having the opportunity to understand the social issues of Uganda as well as the fantastic scenery and wildlife. Inspired by her passion, expertise and dedication, FGL delegates worked with Miriam to help her realize her dream. In 2005 Miriam's launched Credit Tours Uganda and now serves as FGL's official tour operator in Uganda and Rwanda. Link:
